November Favorites 2014

Can you believe how quickly November went? I can't believe we're into the last month of the year! I've been trying a ton of new products lately and had a really hard time narrowing them down. Except quite a bit of product reviews coming up, plus some fun tutorials!

My Thanksgiving attire included my favorite LC Lauren Conrad dress,
my coziest gray cardigan from Target, and some black bow loafers!

Without further ado, let us get into what I've been loving lately!

Monday Questionnaire: November 10th 2014

November? Already? I can't even begin to process how quickly 2014 is going by. The Holiday season is my favorite, so I'm welcoming the closing months of the year with open arms. Time for another Monday Questionnaire! I was scrolling through some of my photos recently and came across this picture of my cappuccino from a wedding a few weeks ago. And yes, it was as delicious as it looks!

1. Mood:

A tad overwhelmed. So much has been going on in my life recently that it's hard to digest and deal with it all. My main focus right now is to sit back, relax, breath, and just have fun. 

2. What is the last song/album you purchased?

What else? Taylor Swift's 1989.

3. The best video game system ever is______.

The Wii or the Nintendo DS. I really love both of them!

4. Current nail polish: 

Bare! But my toes are currently sporting Revlon Colorstay in Bold Sangria. 

5. How many times did you hit the snooze button this morning?

None! I don't even allow myself a snooze button because I know I'll abuse it. 

6. Current outfit:

Gray leggings from Old Navy, a maroon dress from Cotton On, a black jacket from Dots, and black booties from JustFab.

7. What is the furthest distance you've ever traveled?

Anchorage, Alaska is over 3,00 miles from where I live, and Denali is about 260 miles north from there, so quite far!

8. You can only use one mascara for the rest of your life--which one is it?

I don't really have an all-time favorite, but I do really love the CoverGirl Clump Crusher and the Maybelline The Mega Plush.

9. If you could have a $1000 gift card to anywhere right now, where would you choose?

Probably Amazon! It's the most versatile choice in my opinion. 

10. Weekly goals:

Keep a clear head! Everything will be fine. :)

October Favorites 2014

October flew by. Sure, everyone says that, but balancing all of my classes on top of everything else going on in my life has been insane. Nevertheless, I do have some new loves to share!

We'll start with my favorite breakfast of the month: cinnamon roll waffles. I've been obsessed with my waffle iron recently, and these were just too good to not snap a picture for Instagram! 

Beauty Boxes: October 2014

It's that time of the month again...beauty box time! In case you've forgotten, I am subscribed to Birchbox and Ipsy, both of which are services that for ten dollars a month send a box (or bag) full of deluxe size beauty products to your doorstep on a monthly basis.

Before I get into the actual boxes, I will say this: I really wish that the companies would send the boxes out earlier. I always get so excited when a new month begins to check out my products, and I always have to wait a week or so to actually get my products. But oh well.

Monday Questionnaire: October 13th 2014

It feels SO good to be writing again. This past week has been so hectic that I've barely had the chance to check my email via my phone, let alone open my laptop and write some blog posts. That being said, things have (hopefully) settled down (*knocks on wood*) so I'm finally back. And what better way to start things up again than with a Monday Questionnaire?

September Favorites 2014

 I can't decide if this month went quickly or slowly. Nevertheless, it's finished and I have some of my favorite products to share!

Obviously I can't type up this favorites without honoring Danielle Fishel's book signing. I have a whole separate post/mini book review on that, so I'll link that here to avoid going into sever fangirl mode.

Monday Questionnaire: September 29th 2014

What better way to kick off a brand new week than a Monday Questionnaire? But before I jump into it, here's my latest favorite picture: I went out to lunch and got this amazing barbecue pulled pork sandwich and they wrote Pulled Pork on the plate in BBQ sauce. How cute is that?

Autumn Haul 2014

Autumn clothes, in my opinion, are the best clothes. There's nothing cozier than snuggling up in a comfy sweater and nothing cuter than slipping on some tights and boots. I tend to go far crazier with shopping in the colder months (which isn't necessarily the best thing considering I love in an area with a clear four seasons) so I've been particularly keen on all of the styles that have been hitting the stores recently. That being said, I did a bit of shopping lately, and decided to share my findings. All of these items (with the exception of one little Walgreen's purchase) were purchased in outlet stores, and as usual, everything was discounted. So I didn't do that much damage. *smiles guiltily*

Here's the cruddy iPhone picture of my bags on the floor of my bedroom. In my defense, this is collective and there's not too much from each store (except Old Navy. There's a fair amount from Old Navy).

Beauty Boxes: September 2014

Coming home after a long day of class and having my beauty boxes waiting for me is always a good thing. September is usually a great month for subscription services, so I was particularly excited to tare into the mail carriers.

Monday Questionnaire: September 8th 2014

So I think that it's time to get a little bit personal on my blog, and Monday Questionnaires seem like the perfect way to do that. I don't know if I'll be doing this every Monday, but I will certainly try to make it a habit.

August Favorites 2014

August is always the saddest month to see end. While I'm dreading sitting in class all day as much as the next girl, I think it's time to embrace the approaching autumn. Since I was traveling for almost half of the month, a lot of my favorites stem from my trip, starting with my picture/experience favorite: taking a helicopter ride and landing on a glacier. This snap is a sneaky selfie I took with my mom in the helicopter!

July Favorites 2014

As every month comes to a close I sit back and wonder where all of the time went, and this month is no exception. It feels like just yesterday that I was tossing away old paperwork and scribbling down hurried answers on final exams, and now summer is halfway over! Nevertheless, I discovered some great new products this month, and I'm more than excited to share them all.
