Who doesn't love a good Monday Questionnaire? These posts are some of my favorites because they allow me to share some of myself. I have quite a lot to do this week....my lazy summer is already fading away. I do actually like to be busy, though, so I'm ready for the challenge!

My (Ongoing) College Experience: A Summary
I was nervous transitioning from high school to college. As a person who loves to know exactly how things are going to work, I hated the fact that I was going to go from a routine I had lived for the greater majority of my life--being a student in a public school--to a routine that was completely foreign. Sure, you always hear about college being the greatest years of your life and yadda yadda yadda, but the whole idea terrified me from the day I started my senior year of high school and realized that application time had started.
Because of my reservations, I chose a college that was close by; a place where I was far enough away from my hometown that I could really get the "typical college" feeling of starting in a new place with new people, but close enough that I could live at home and still feel safe and comfortable. After I committed to my school, I regretted it. I mean, most of my friends were going to schools that are farther away. But all of those regrets and hesitations drained away within my first week on my campus. And through my ongoing journey that I also call my college years, I've definitely transitioned and learned a thing or two.

May Favorites 2016
Can you believe that we are one month away from being halfway through 2016? I feel like this year has flown by faster than I could say I won't break my new years resolutions (which I totally did). Now that school is over and summer has begun (for us college kids, anyway!) I am very intent on blogging consistantly. Yes, I say that approximately 99% of the time, so hopefully this time I will actually follow through. ;)
The first half of May was a blur of late night study sessions, endless final papers, and a ton of coffee, and the second half has thankfully been slower: lazy mornings, afternoon shifts at work, and free nights. In an attempt to put my social life back together (I always let it fall through the cracks around finals), I met two of my best friends for lunch at a new gourmet grilled cheese shop nearby. And, yes, it was as delicious as it looks.

Currently Craving: Spring 2016
It's officially Spring, which is one of my favorite times of the year! Usually around this time, I get super inspired and in the mood to do a complete overhaul of my beauty routine, closet, room, organization system, and just life in general. However, between the craziness of school and life, I haven't had a ton of time to be inspired by the new season. I spent some time compiling my list for this post in hopes of getting more into my usual Spring spirit.
As always, I have a small collection of things: beauty, skincare, haircare, fashion, and a couple of random things. I think that this post is going to be the first in a mini series (tentatively titled "Spring Refresh") all about revitalizing your life and routines after the long Winter months. But for now, let's just focus on this, shall we?

Disney Dining: The Grand Floridian's Garden View Tea Room
If you haven't been able to tell, I'm totally and completely obsessed with Disney. Like, dreaming of my next vacation before this one ends, wearing my Minnie Mouse ears into the park, and squealing as I type up the perfect caption as I post meeting Peter Pan on Instagram, obsessed. The extreme foodie in me loves picking out restaurants--reading the reviews, finding the best of the best, and sitting down and eating after a long day in the park. Over the summer, I really wanted to do a Disney mini-series and never got around to it, but I'm going to test the waters here with a restaurant review.
As part of my parents' Christmas/anniversary gifts, I treated them the tea at the Garden View Tea Room, which is in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. My parents are Disney Vacation Club members (their home resort is the Boardwalk) and we stayed half of our stay in the Grand Floridian to try it out. Friends of ours really raved about Afternoon Tea at the Garden View Tea Room, and when it Rome, right?

2015 Favorites: Beauty, Fashion, and More
I can't even believe that 2015 is over. So much happened in these 365 days that I can't believe it's actually over, but at the same time I'm excited to see what 2016 has in store! This post is definitely late, but better late than never, right?
Decorating my Erin Condren Life Planner with stickers has definitely been
one of my favorites this year!
It took quite a while to compile a list of my favorite products from throughout the entire year, but I think I racked my brain enough and narrowed down a pretty good list of my all-time favorites from the past year.

Thoughts During a Blizzard -2016-
As a born and raised New Yorker, I am more than used to snow. The first snowstorm of the season will never fail to be the most exciting, even if every one after that just results in groans. While watching the storm (named Jonas, I believe) swirl around outside today--I'm typing this the night of January 23rd--I realized that each year I'm becoming more of an adult who is concerned about commutes, power outages, and shoveling the way out of the door and less of a kid who only cares about making snow angels and drinking hot chocolate when finally forced to come inside.
The transition is weird for, even though I'm just realizing it now and know that it happened quite a while ago. But today, I am going to list some major thoughts that went through my head as the almost two feet of white fluffy stuff piled up higher and higher.
My mom posted this pic of our backyard--and this was after
my brother made a path to the shed!
